Procedure

Step 1

When a client first contacts North American Surgery Inc, we open a file for that person, which will include contact information and the nature of the client’s medical problem. Many clients will have a confirmed diagnosis of their condition. For these clients, we will provide a list of those medical facilities at which we have negotiated deeply discounted prices. Once a client has made his or her selection of the facility which will potentially be providing their treatment, we will provide a contact person’s name and the address of the facility to which a copy of their diagnostics can be mailed.

Step 2 (for clients with diagnostics)

The hospital or clinic which the client has selected will provide a preliminary assessment of the diagnostics, at no charge to the client. If, in the opinion of the physicians, the client is a good candidate for a procedure, the client will be contacted by North American Surgery with an estimate of the expected costs for the procedure. If, at that point, the client is comfortable with the preliminary assessment and the projected costs, a consultation appointment will be set up at a time which is convenient with the client.

Step 2 (for clients without diagnostics)

Based on the nature of the client’s symptoms, we will suggest a likely source of care. An appointment will be made, at the facility, for a diagnostic “work up” and the client will travel to the facility.

After the workup is completed, an estimate for the treatment will be provided to the client and, if this is acceptable to the client, a face-to-face consultation with the surgeon will be arranged.

Step 3

Following the consultation with the surgeon, the client will provide the contact person at the facility with a check for payment in full for the surgery. This check will be made out to North American Surgery Inc and may be in the form of a certified check or cashier’s check.

Step 4

Upon receipt of payment in full, the procedure will be scheduled, typically within 24 – 48 hours.
